It always amazes me what little kids think they want to be when they grow up. Last time I asked, Roo said she wanted to be a cheerleader and Lu wanted to be a yellow banana. I dare you not to laugh at that one. All I can say is that she must get it from her father.
I’ve decided to make this a monthly thing. Each month I’ll ask what they want to be when they grow up and we’ll get to see how it changes (or doesn’t).
ME: Roo, what do you want to be when you grow up?
ROO: I want to run a daycare. And I want to be an actress.
ME: Lu, what do you want to be when you grow up?
LU: (After much deep thought) I’ll be a first grade teacher.
